I am testing Excel 2010 on a few Windows 7 pc.  2 of them somethings get the following error after saving a file.  Click ok and then it appears after 10 seconds. It just keep going on until I kill the excel process.  Please assist.

Hi,

You could try choosing File, Options, Advanced, and under General check Ignore other applications that use DDE.

    try checking compatibility mode. i had the same problem coz it was running on xp mode so i uncheck it and now it works fine.

    Hi Shane,

    I have followed above instruction the problem still exist. 

    I am using Windows 10 &  Excel 2013. 

    Would you please advise any other suggestion...

    Hello,

    I would like to know about your solution on the "Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action". What would happen to the "BoxDrop" and other "website memory drivers"... Would this solution of "...under General check Ignore other applications that use DD" would cause to ignore the "automatic synchronizations" toward our "website memory drivers"?
