How do I center a page in the center of my monitor? I go to view > 1 page, but if I do that, although the page is centered, as soon as I zoom in, the entire page is set off to the left, as if it were in a 2 page view. I want to fix my view at one page, centered in the middle of my screen, with any zoom level I like.

I have to go out and can't check this properly at the moment (and the behaviour seems a little odd at first glance) but there is a setting in VBA - Zoom.PageColumns - that (partially) controls what you want. I will dig a little further on my return.
You asked a question and I gave you the correct answer. Then you argued about it and I explained the answer. Now it is my fault that you don't like the answer?
Whether you like it or not, the answer I have repeated several times and confirmed by fellow MVPs in this thread is correct. Arguing about it is not going to make it wrong. ... or would you prefer that we gave you wrong advice just to please you?
As for the MVP business - I was awarded MVP status because I provide my spare time and expertise to help fellow users sort out the Word related problems and have done so for many years. Few are the occasions when recipients of information provided are so ungracious as to argue the point, when they are clearly wrong.
If you are frustrated and annoyed by being given correct advice then frankly I wonder who has the problem here.

With a record like this, I wonder how you maintain MVP status. I've never encountered an MVP that issues blanket statements like you, and then takes jab at someone when they disagree. @Graham. Read that post above yours; I believe that you could learn a lot from it. You are only continuing to derail this thread. You claim that I am wrong, but yet you clearly did not attempt to confirm that this functionality is present in other older versions of word, which is what I asked. Can you confirm that 2000, 98, and 97 behave this way? What about even earlier versions of word? (Which, while I am not willing to use, would fall under your "always" claim.) If not, then your statement was made in (obvious) haste, and since you indicated no attempt to verify beyond the blanket "always" statement, this led me to believe that you did not bother to check before making your claim and were being imprecise.
Frankly, I believe you to be an embarrassment to this board - especially consider the helpfulness of the other MVPs - and I will be contacting whoever I can to report you. I only asked if others could verify your statement before you made snide remarks and began to attack me. I hadn't even said you were wrong at that point. If being skeptical of a blanket claim can set you off, I wonder how many others have been at the receiving end of your forum aggression. I'm through dealing with you; I will just point the appropriate others your way in the future so that they may deal with you.
@ sanwin. Perhaps you missed that part of this thread has been deleted (Graham's post between my monday and tuesday posts is gone). Either Graham self-removed it because he knew that its contents were embarrassing and unbecoming, or a mod did it. You haven't seen the full conversation.
