How do I center a page in the center of my monitor? I go to view > 1 page, but if I do that, although the page is centered, as soon as I zoom in, the entire page is set off to the left, as if it were in a 2 page view. I want to fix my view at one page, centered in the middle of my screen, with any zoom level I like.

I have to go out and can't check this properly at the moment (and the behaviour seems a little odd at first glance) but there is a setting in VBA - Zoom.PageColumns - that (partially) controls what you want. I will dig a little further on my return.
Thank you very much Tony! Good thing that I continued to ask for help from others. Something like this was just what I was looking for when I asked for a 'registry hack;' some programs store behavioral switches in the registry, and I forgot about macros serving a similar function in Microsoft Office applications.
I wish that we could have reached this conclusion sooner, but unnecessary harassment and derailing by the above elongated a thread that otherwise could have been more precise.

You seem to have taken exception to Graham - in what, at best, one could describe as an over-reaction - but that has nothing to do with your interactions with me, and your comment here seems out of place and shows rather a lack of good grace on finding a solution.
