Auto Enter County, State & Zip after entering City

I'm trying to make data entry easier. We have a relatively small client base (3 counties) and I'm wondering if I create a table with all of the cities in the counties grouped together with states and zips if Access will be able to AutoEnter the County, State and Zip after the City is entered?

(I've only got beginner Access 2010 under my belt....hoping they will send me to level 2 at the very least...)

    There are only two cities with the same zip, and 98% of the time it's only one of the two.

    I'm working on moving the actual address from the individual records table to an address table. Next I'll have to create a form to do my entering on rather than going back and forth between two tables for entry (like excel).

    When I create the form, will there be a way to use a drop down to select my city from a list and have it populate whatever else I want it to in the other fields?

    Please DO ask for clarification of any term we use that you don't understand. You might also want to check out www.hplearning.com. HP offers free courses that are instructor monitored by partially self paced.

    The way to get around the issue of multiple cities/towns with the same zip code is to use an Autonumber Primary Key for the Zip Code table. When you select a zip code you can display the city as well so the user can choose the correct city. I also generally do store the City, State and Zip in the address record, but sometimes not. Really depends on the app.

    Some cities have multiple zipcodes. How can you type a city and populate a zipcode?
