How can I remove the blank page after section break?

Don't want blank page between different sections in draft document ("next page" section breaks). Tried hiding and tried changing paragraph symbol font size to 1. Still getting blank page. UGH!

Under certain circumstances, the section break, or actually the blank paragraph containing the section break, may cause an extra page (this might happen below a table, for example). Formatting it as 1 pt font size, exact line spacing 1 pt, zero spacing before/after should fix it. You may also want to format it as hidden text. In fact, you can create a paragraph style with those characteristics and apply it to the empty paragraph in question.

    You wrote, "I just formatted from before the section break to the end of the document hidden." Now, since you checked that that text range was just a single paragraph mark, that is OK.

    Note that you can quickly apply the workaround if you create a paragraph style which includes hidden text, as I believe I have mentioned before in this thread.

    Not sure what you mean... I work always with all formatting symbols showing, otherwise I wouldnt be able to select the section break?  All there is after the break is a para mark? ... it doesn't show what is "causing the excessive page" ...?

    ... My post was pointing out that painstakingly formatting text, para lines, etc was "overkill"!
