How can I remove the blank page after section break?

Don't want blank page between different sections in draft document ("next page" section breaks). Tried hiding and tried changing paragraph symbol font size to 1. Still getting blank page. UGH!

Under certain circumstances, the section break, or actually the blank paragraph containing the section break, may cause an extra page (this might happen below a table, for example). Formatting it as 1 pt font size, exact line spacing 1 pt, zero spacing before/after should fix it. You may also want to format it as hidden text. In fact, you can create a paragraph style with those characteristics and apply it to the empty paragraph in question.

    HI,

    i have a document of 10 pages with text that have 2 sections: 1 section from 1-8 and the 2nd section from 1-2 because section break restart numbering. The problem is that between these 2 sections appear a blank page so in total i arrive to 11 pages: 1st section with 1-9(page nr 9 is blank page) and 2nd section with 1-2. I tried all methods that i found here but without success. I need section break for the restart of numbering. Have u any idea how i can manage?

    It is normal for Odd Page and Even Page section breaks to add a blank page (when required). You can change the kind of section in the Page Setup dialog box. See http://wordfaqs.mvps.org/BlankPage.htm. For version-specific advice, please state your version of Word.
