My computer will only print one copy even tho i select muliple copies

I cant seem to figure out why the programme will only allow me to print one copy of a document at a time even tho multiple copies are selected!! i have installed the printer drivers again and am nearly sure that its not the printers fault? any ideas anyone?

Just to confirm this fixed the issue for me.  Printer is an HP LaserJet 3330 using Windows 7's own driver.  Disabling Mopier mode (which had been enabled by default) fixed the problem and allowed multiple copies to be printed.   Steps to fix:

  1. Start > Devices and Printers

2. Double-click printer

  1. Double-click "Customize your printer"
  2. Click "Device Settings" tab
  3. Scroll to bottom of page and change "Mopier Mode" to Disabled under the "Installable Options" group.

Thanks for pointing this out David, it's something that's been bugging me since Vista.

Does this issue happen only with Word?

Did you try to print in other Office applications like Excel?

Check if you can print multiple copies in WordPad and Excel.

If it happens only in Word, check this article and see if it helps

    Just to be clear, you did look for new drivers on HP's web site?

    The alternative is to try an older driver that may be supplied with Windows.

    The answer is to change the print processor back to winprint. It's under "advanced" in the printer properties. For some reason some installs of Office changes the processor...
