My computer will only print one copy even tho i select muliple copies

I cant seem to figure out why the programme will only allow me to print one copy of a document at a time even tho multiple copies are selected!! i have installed the printer drivers again and am nearly sure that its not the printers fault? any ideas anyone?

Just to confirm this fixed the issue for me.  Printer is an HP LaserJet 3330 using Windows 7's own driver.  Disabling Mopier mode (which had been enabled by default) fixed the problem and allowed multiple copies to be printed.   Steps to fix:

  1. Start > Devices and Printers

2. Double-click printer

  1. Double-click "Customize your printer"
  2. Click "Device Settings" tab
  3. Scroll to bottom of page and change "Mopier Mode" to Disabled under the "Installable Options" group.

Thanks for pointing this out David, it's something that's been bugging me since Vista.

Does this issue happen only with Word?

Did you try to print in other Office applications like Excel?

Check if you can print multiple copies in WordPad and Excel.

If it happens only in Word, check this article and see if it helps

    Hello Sir. I checked your link and it was really helpful.

    So what if it does not also print the other office applications such as microsoft Excel?

    Then what could be the problem? Is it the printer itself already?

    I am responding because I had the same problem, which applied to word but also excel and an older version of wordperfect (9).  As it turned out, the problem was with my HP printer, an older model.  It was not the driver, which I tried changing endlessly.  On an HP forum, someone suggested disabling (or enabling) the "mopier" function in the printer driver device settings, and that worked for wordperfect and other programs as well.  I don't know what the mopier function is, and don't know if this has application to any other printers, but there were several similar posts on the HP site for problems both with Vista and Windows 7.  Mine is an HP laserjet 3030, but as I said it applied to other HP models as well.
