My computer will only print one copy even tho i select muliple copies

I cant seem to figure out why the programme will only allow me to print one copy of a document at a time even tho multiple copies are selected!! i have installed the printer drivers again and am nearly sure that its not the printers fault? any ideas anyone?

Just to confirm this fixed the issue for me.  Printer is an HP LaserJet 3330 using Windows 7's own driver.  Disabling Mopier mode (which had been enabled by default) fixed the problem and allowed multiple copies to be printed.   Steps to fix:

  1. Start > Devices and Printers

2. Double-click printer

  1. Double-click "Customize your printer"
  2. Click "Device Settings" tab
  3. Scroll to bottom of page and change "Mopier Mode" to Disabled under the "Installable Options" group.

Thanks for pointing this out David, it's something that's been bugging me since Vista.

Does this issue happen only with Word?

Did you try to print in other Office applications like Excel?

Check if you can print multiple copies in WordPad and Excel.

If it happens only in Word, check this article and see if it helps

    I had this problem too when I switched to Windows 7.  It was not just in Word, but in other applications as well.  Here is what worked for me:

    1.  I went to Control Panel and went to Printers.

    2.  I right-clicked on the HP printer at issue and selected "Printer properties"

    3.  In the window that came up, I clicked on the tab for "Advanced."

    4.  At the bottom of the new window, I selected  Print Processor.

    5.  In the new window, I found that the print processor was hpzpplhn.  I selected "winprint" instead.

    6.  This cured the problem.

    I couldn't print more than one copy of an Internet Explorer web page on my Xerox Workcenter 7655 until I clicked on the

    Printer's Settings:

    Paper/Output tab

    Saved Settings (lower right)

    Change to "Default Internet Explorer" option

    All these other answers got me on the right path.  Thank you.
