I'm using Office 2007 on Windows 7 Professional.
This drives me crazy, and right now it's blocking other text I need to edit. When I move text around, using the right-click cut and paste menu, after pasting the paste options popup shows, and it won't go away, even if I choose a paste option. How do I make the stupid thing disappear after I'm done with it?

Click on the Office button and then on Word Options and then on Advanced and go to the Cut, copy, and paste section and uncheck the box for "Show Paste Options buttons".
Thank you for the response, but that sounds as if I only have two options - have the thing appear and stay around, or not have it appear at all. I do sometimes use it. I'll keep experimenting and see if there's a third way...
Thank you!
Great one more thing I'll have to remember to disable every time I setup 2010. Thanks MS for making more work than is necessary.
