Did you ever find anything that works with OneNote?

I also agree, OneNote on Surface, accepting pen input easily, performing OCR on the Pen Input and doing mind map would be a KILLER selling point.

OMG!!! I was thinking exactly the same thing. This would rock. jensness, you are sooo right! MS had its head up its for such a long time they might not even see it (years long self-repetition chokes creativity), but whoah, mindmapping in onenote would be a killer feature. I came across lots of people on internet forums who like me want a paperless life, a streamlined creative process - and many of them are aiming for a windows tablet just for the inking capability in onenote. And this is the real market for the overpriced windows tabs, not the hipsters - but business/academics/artists. I'm myself a physics student, I have no need for a toy like ipad or the surface (laptop+android smartphone has me covered), I don't subscribe to the hipster crowd, but for many people like me, inking seals the deal. That I can use! I've also been using onenote for a while and it's a fine note-taking app, a little less of a content collection app (evernote does it better with a website clipper that works in every browser, not just IE... I'm NOT gonna switch to IE, forget about it, like my firefox with addons better), but one thing I miss tremendously is mind-mapping. Jesus, onenote needs mindmapping sooo much, every time I use it, it begs for it. Would be so handy. Mindmapping is just how people think. And it should be said out loud. Anyway, just wanted to tell you jensness: 1. you're right as 2. you and I could start a company, write an addon to onenote, put it on MS own app store and rip all the money they wanna let sip through their fingers :P Just kidding, but seriously, MS - as it is right now, onenote is a full-baked note-taking app but only half-baked killer app that it could be. Don't put your future on half-baked killer apps and don't rely on 3rd party devs to do the job only you can do right.
