Old Style Word Art in Word 2010?

Could anyone tell me whether it is possible to insert Word Art similar to that in versions of MS Word from 2003 and before?  The Word Art in MS Word 2010 only seems to appear in straight lines, whereas I would sometimes prefer to have the writing in the style of a curved banner?  Have MS just removed this option, oram I looking in the wrong place? It just doesn't seem to be an option? Thanks. P.S, I know the text can be offset at an angle, but clicking on the small green circle, but I want the writing to curve?

Word 2010's WordArt is a bit more powerful than you suspect, I believe. Insert a WordArt object, then, in Drawing Tools - Format, look at Text Effects - Transform. Does that give you what you want?

If not, you can still get the old style. Save the file in Word 2003 format, and now when you choose Insert - WordArt, you'll see the legacy choices.

    When I go to Insert Word Art, I only get a list of capital A's.  I don't get anything like the wonderful old system of banners and curves and multiple colors!  (This is in response to the person that said Just click on Insert and you'll have the same Word Art.)  However, I will try some other suggestions.

    See also 2003 WordArt Add-In for 2010-2013. It will give you the following:

    If you use it to insert WordArt, you will have access to a gallery of the traditional choices.

    By the way, this is a workaround. The ultimate solution, IMO, is to learn to use the new tools, painful as that process is. This thread is a convoluted, but excellent, discussion of the methods of handling WordArt. I've put a reference to iton my download page.

    I suspect that meant to click the "Drawing tools/Format TAB" which only shows if you select a graphic

    its at the bottom... i seem to remember it following a free-form shape, I don't see that option, it will curve and transform... rainbow colours too
