Do you mean within a cell with text wrapping turned on? You can only change the font size, you have no direct control over line spacing within a cell.

If you mean between cells, you can change the row height, of course.

    I agree.  Excel is a fabulous software and there should be a capability to change line spacing within a cell.

    Absolutely agree with this request.  Implement the same Word Paragraph or Line Spacing functionality.

    Here is how I easily solved the problem.

    1. copy the contents of the cell.
    2. delete the contents of the cell.
    3. paste the copied contents back into the cell.

    All lines will be compressed in the original font.
