I am trying to embed a video from youtube directly into my powerpoint presentation. Under the insert tab and video pull down list, I have the option of "video from file" and "video from clipart", but the option of "video from website" is there in the pull down menu but I can't "click" it. The option is "greyed out" please help ty.

Requirements for online video sites (Youtube, etc.) are as follows:
Flash Player 10+
Windows Media Player 10 or higher
32-bit Office 2010
Does your system meet all of those requirements?

After removing KB2553145 from the updates installed on 9/11/2013 we can again see "video from web site" as an option.

I know this is an old question, but did you ever get a straight answer for it? I'm dyin' over here. The video from website option doesn't come up for me. It has nothing to do with the version I'm using or the flash player or anything. I was just using this 3 days ago without a problem and suddenlt it has stopped working.....
