I am trying to embed a video from youtube directly into my powerpoint presentation. Under the insert tab and video pull down list, I have the option of "video from file" and "video from clipart", but the option of "video from website" is there in the pull down menu but I can't "click" it. The option is "greyed out" please help ty.

Requirements for online video sites (Youtube, etc.) are as follows:
Flash Player 10+
Windows Media Player 10 or higher
32-bit Office 2010

Download You Tube Downloader from CNET. This makes it easy to download a You Tube video. It downoloads the video to your computer. Then there is a convert tab in the You Tube downloader. Convert it to an Mpeg4 format. Then insert it through the Insert Video option of PowerPoint. This will make it so that it can be trimmed.
I am having problems with the audio playing through the sides though. I will take any help I can get on this.
Wow, no idea. You have 32-bit Office, Flash Player 10+ and Windows Media Player 10 or higher?
Which version of Windows on Parallels? Have you let all Windows Updates install? Sometimes that helps.

I have all of that, but its still greyed out.... Does it matter that I am running it on parallels. Can you help? I cant figure out what to do. Thanks.
