I am trying to embed a video from youtube directly into my powerpoint presentation. Under the insert tab and video pull down list, I have the option of "video from file" and "video from clipart", but the option of "video from website" is there in the pull down menu but I can't "click" it. The option is "greyed out" please help ty.

Requirements for online video sites (Youtube, etc.) are as follows:
Flash Player 10+
Windows Media Player 10 or higher
32-bit Office 2010
Does your system meet all of those requirements?

I have all of these things that Echo suggests but my option is also greyout for inserting video from web site. It is driving me crazy. I have Office 2010, the latest windows media player and I downloaded the latest Adobe Flash although I cannot find where it is installed. It said it was installed although it only took a few seconds and I can't find the program to run it. I also have 64-bit. I need to get this video insert option going asap. Thanks for any help.
I doubt that's it. Wish I could help you with the trial version issue, at least, but I'm not up-to-speed on that, sorry.

Thanks for your help... I'm not really sure what's going on. Do you think it might be that I'm running a trial version of Office? I purchased Office with my system, but when I go to the Help feature in any Office program, it says I have X days left in my trial. I've entered my Product Key over and over, but it doesn't seem to make a difference...
I'm not, either. I just wanted to make sure we are clear on what you are seeing, because your system *does* seem to meet the requirements.
Since it's a new computer, the one thing you may want to do is make sure all Windows updates have been installed. Sometimes that can help.
Hopefully someone else will come in with more ideas.
