Powerpoint 2010 video from website option not available

I am trying to embed a video from youtube directly into my powerpoint presentation.  Under the insert tab and video pull down list, I have the option of "video from file" and "video from clipart", but the option of "video from website" is there in the pull down menu but I can't "click" it.  The option is "greyed out"  please help ty.

Requirements for online video sites (Youtube, etc.) are as follows:

Flash Player 10+

Windows Media Player 10 or higher 

32-bit Office 2010

Does your system meet all of those requirements?

    This is just to inform there TWO outstanding issues here:

    1. Embed code is a very long outstanding problem. This didn't appear with September 2013 PowerPoint update. Microsoft is either ignoring this or taking very slow action about it. This problem has been around at least two years for me and I'm sure every frequent PowerPoint user faced this problem and tried to find 3rd party solutions (including add-ons) on the internet. It's a shame. Remains UNSOLVED.
    2. The worst thing happened after the PowerPoint 2010 update which took place in September 10, 2013. This time, under the insert tab (video pull down list), "video from website" option was lost (not grayed out but completely lost). I had to call Microsoft support center and the only solution they offered was to uninstall the Powerpoint 2010 update (September 2013). Remains UNSOLVED.

    I'm looking for a sense of urgency from Microsoft to tackle the above mentioned issues which are critical and affect many users (including me). Awaiting for a solution very soon.

    Customers using PowerPoint 2010 are finding that they can no longer use embed code to embed web videos in PowerPoint presentations. This problem is documented in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2880293.

    I have all those and and still have no option to insert a video from the web. I just did an update as well and still no option. I have a widows 7, 64 bit operating system. Running Microsoft Office 32-bit 2010.

    I just fixed a colleague's 32-bit PowerPoint 2010 running on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit by using the PPTAlchemy AddIn suggested by John SR Wilson above. Scroll down the page to the DOWNLOAD THE ADDIN link. As it isn't my PC I did not want to mess with uninstalling Windows Updates as discussed in the red updates at the bottom of the PPTAlchemy page. By using the Old Style 2007 link method (offered by the AddIn) my colleague was able to edit old PPT files and get the YouTube videos to play.
