What happened to all the clip art?

Office used to have a great selection of clip art.  I relied on it for teaching and it seems the offerings have seriously shrunk.  I used a series with the keyword 'teen' for my students worksheets and now they are no longer in the menu!  In fact, nothing comes up at all with this keyword anymore.  What's up!?!

If I type teen in WORD I get loads back.

Try the following (I am working in WORD):-

Insert tab / Illustrations group / click on Clip Art and the Clip Art Task Pane should launch on the right hand side.

In the Search for: box type:-

teen

Make sure that Search in: is set to:-

All collections

Make sure that Results should be: is set to:-

All media file types

Hit Go

Now you should get plenty of Clip Art back.

    And now there is no way at all to access the Office.com Clip Art collection. At this point, all of the workaround links in this thread that still accessed the Office.com Clip Art collection no longer work. Also, it looks like they removed the Office.com Clip Art search from the Online Pictures box, too. It looks like they changed it right after my initial reply explaining how to use that. This December 1st blog post says they removed it: http://blogs.office.com/2014/12/01/clip-art-now-powered-bing-images

    I'm no lawyer, but looking at the terms of their EULA (http://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-software-license-agreement), they refer to their clip art collection as a feature. I wonder if it's legal for them to remove it. There's a paragraph saying you lose the rights to an old version of the software after an upgrade, but this seems really more like a downgrade, since it's removing an advertised feature. If they're going to move to Bing Image Search instead, they should at least incorporate the clip art feature there by making their Office.com Clip Art collection available via an internet search. And they should add some kind of Safe Search feature. That would be nice...

    In short, this is really dumb. [insert unhappy face clip art here...oh wait...]

    Not really. The Clip Art pane in previous versions searched a limited selection of clip art in Microsoft's online collection. The Online Pictures search uses Bing! to search the entire Web for pictures that meet the criteria set by the keywords entered.

    I am sicked by the fact that we are being forced to use Bing!  I teach elementary school and can not allow my students to randomly search for images that may be, and are, inappropriate.

    Note that Insert tab | Online Pictures is as safe as the ClipArt pane in older versions of Word.
