Both frontend and backend databases reside on same drive which makes this very puzzling.
It has nothing to do with the network, but rather a change that happened when Windows 7 was rolled out. The issue remains with the latest release of Windows 10. I would change the back end to SQL Server Express.
My english is not well enough, but I'll try explaining myself:
My PC is running windows7 enterprise with IIS.No others computers are connected to it. For years I've been managing 2010 Access databases down desktop applications (developed with VB), or through web pages running either aspx or php, including crystal reports. All the sudden, I think after windows updating, is not longer possible to managed those databases down web (aspx or php), but through desktop applications do. IIS throws the following message:
ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][Controlador ODBC Microsoft Access] Se interrumpió el acceso a la red. Para continuar, cierre la base de datos y vuelva a abrirla
(your network access was interrupted. To continue close the database and open it again)
I've downloaded the OFFCAT utility but uncessfully.
What could be happening?
