I've discovered a couple of bugs with Excel Conditional formatting that have been confirmed by others, but other than people knowing people (who know people) who work at Microsoft there doesn't seem to be any forum, website, email address etc. for John Q. Public to report issues with a product. I'm not talking about complaining about missing features etc., I'm talking about "broken" features.
Anybody insights?

Office is not using the connect service for 2007.

Unfortunatly you're correct Sly. At MSFT the various product groups have a choice of how they collect information from the public and internal users for that matter. Connect is one of those choices but Office, as you've noted, is not using it. Looks to me as if they are using their own through http://support.microsoft.com.

Thanks Rollo. Unfortunately http://support.microsoft.com is primarily for those folks who want to pay for support. What I am raising is not a support issue, it is for "proven" bugs, for the most part confirmed by forums such as this.
Where are all the Microsoft people on this forum? Surely you have some thoughts/input!!

I agree Sly that it is very discouraging to ask a question and not have it answered. I found my own bug as well and have spent too long searching MS for a viable reporting system. I do think that Rollo supplied the best response considering the option with the product feedback link 4 posts above this one. I did go to support.microsoft.com to ask them. I was not going to go through 20 questions on the help line and tried to use chat. Chat was down at the moment. Wonderful MS.
MVP's often have direct connections to Microsoft employees who forward the bug reports. At least one of the reasons that there probably is not direct method is 1. Most bug reports are not bugs, 2. Microsoft has the beta testing period when bug reports are collected formally, 3. Microsoft has MVP which report issue. Never the less without a offical site, we are all somewhat frustrated.
