How do I get the classic Excel menu back in Excel 2010

Yet again, and again and again, you comment on a topic that you are unfamiliar with. It's sheer bimbosity.

For the record: the 3rd party "workarounds" are poor. The pre-2007 "menu" interface worked, and that is what MS needs to provide.

You keep saying "the ribbon is fine" but the ribbon is not the issue. Get a clue. Why don't you even read what you reply to by the way.  You would fit well with the MS interface team, the most clueless, the most technically and logically inept collection in the history of technology - nay, the history of science, and the history of time.

Enjoy the last word. I won't explain again the issue with inability to browse menu choices which is the crucial issue.

It used to be when you wanted braces or "caption bubbles" you went menu item View, toolbars, drawing and you could mouse or arrow to any, any, ANY available choice. But oh, no, no, that wasn't broken so look what was done to it:

If you haven't already wasted the time already to know this, try this little experiment: try to find a brace (like next to the P key on your keyboard) or a cartoon caption (or any similar item, which is called a "callout"). Prediction: you will never find it. You will have to research it on the web, or call in someone for help. And help screens? Please. They have not worked right in the past 12 years.

And try to do this with a keyboard only. You have my sympathies in advance.

And for those of you so ineptly gullible that you think that old keyboard shortcuts all work, go alt-V, T and you will find yourself sitting impotently like a fool. (Suggestion: don't report what you read from I.T. article writers as fact. Only some 2003 commands' shortcuts still work. This is an example of an incorrect point that Microsoft originally proclaimed and has been propagated endlessly by shill journalists.  Learn for yourself.)

MS interface design team: please explain what aspect of mental retardation has obscured this as 2007 has, so that I can lobotomize myself into the correct frame of mine to get anything done at all.
