I can't log in to my hotmail.com or Outlook email account

Hi,I can't log in to my hotmail.com email account and I am getting this error as depicted in picture below. I also tried from Android and iPhone outlook apps, but it is not opening from there too. Can someone help me?

    I have the same problem. It is absurd. The mail was working fine today

    I also have the same issue. I have been unable to access email via my hotmail address since late yesterday. I have the same error message as listed by others.

    It would be helpful if the replies regarding time could be time stamped, so that people can monitor the progress of this issue.

    This post was made at 09.47 GMT - how long will it be before a fix is in place please?

    I am unable to logon to my hotmail email. I have tried a browser, my iphone app, my outlook app, and a android app. None are working.
