Outlook webpage refreshes whenever emails with attachments are opened or writing new emails

Just as the title says, this began for the first time this morning. My Outlook webpage will refresh within seconds of opening any emails with attachments or opening up a new email to write regardless of email account or browser. I've tried on Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and my main browser, Chrome, to no avail. Have not found any solutions including clearing browsing history/cache/cookies, disabling any and all extensions, and even removing extensions from my browser entirely. I've also reset my password twice, restarted my computer, and don't know what to do from here.

As other users have noted, the issue affects multiple browsers on multiple operating systems. It's an issue with the Microsoft web app. And it's been an issue for almost a month. Why has Microsoft not been able to patch this yet?

Incidentally, this is not the only support thread related to this issue... here's another, with the same frustrating pattern of an immediate suggestion from Microsoft support, followed by dozens of users pointing out that the suggested fixes are all temporary and do not address the root cause, which is persistent and is clearly an issue with the release. Not sure how many more support threads there are for this same issue, but I really wish Microsoft would wake up and address this.

This seems related to webmail only right now. Try using the New or Classic Outlook versions for error-free email. If you're a M365 user per your institutions remark, you'll have options to use either app. Pretty simple.

Same. Oddly, the only fix for our issue was clearing browser data/cache in Chrome. Updating Chrome to the latest version didn't fix it, which was usually my go-to. For us, though, Chrome doesn't work but Edge works just fine and has been the last couple days. So, I'm not sure if it's a browser update issue or what since a lot of people report issues with Chrome and/or Edge (since Edge is Chromium-based). Firefox happening on the other hand, now that's just crazy talk because it's an entirely different browser engine which leads me to believe MS "patched" something which ultimately broke the web interface.

I think we need to work to find is it a browser issue, Windows Update issue, Outlook update issue, etc. My 1 user who reports the problem is Windows 10 Pro 22H2, Chrome's latest version, and Office Business Premium user with Outlook web app that's the problem. Does anyone else have a similar setup/experience or are you on other OSes, browsers, etc.

Edited 2/24: I do see a Microsoft advisory for Exchange Online as well as a few other services as of Feb 3rd which may or may not be related. It could be from when users first reported issues. It's quite vague so take this with a massive grain of salt...
