Outlook webpage refreshes whenever emails with attachments are opened or writing new emails

Just as the title says, this began for the first time this morning. My Outlook webpage will refresh within seconds of opening any emails with attachments or opening up a new email to write regardless of email account or browser. I've tried on Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and my main browser, Chrome, to no avail. Have not found any solutions including clearing browsing history/cache/cookies, disabling any and all extensions, and even removing extensions from my browser entirely. I've also reset my password twice, restarted my computer, and don't know what to do from here.

    Strange that a similar annoying issue for user experience, that's impacting almost everyone... is still not fixed and we didn’t even hear an update from support team.

    Without mentioning that's an easy to reproduce bug, so I wonder if some tests are done before releasing such regressions.

    PS: I have the issue with Mac OS - Brave browser... so by reading the previous comments it seems to impact all OS, and probably also all browsers.

    I have the problem only in Chrome. Web-based Outlook works fine when I use Edge, but not in Chrome, it won't let me respond to emails or compose new ones. I've updated Google Chrome, deleted Google Chrome and reinstalled, completely shut down the laptop, cleared cache and cookies....nothing has helped. But it's fine if I use Edge. Huh.

    Also experienced this today. What I did is logout then relogin on my microsoft account. After that, it finally stops reloading when opening emails with attachments.

    Same issue and it is absolutely maddening. I don't want to use New Outlook, I want to use Outlook in my browser (Firefox).

    My short-term fix/ workaround that I have found was to launch an incognito window in chrome. Seems too have given me some temporary relief. Long-term, I hope MS fixes this soon.
