Outlook webpage refreshes whenever emails with attachments are opened or writing new emails

Just as the title says, this began for the first time this morning. My Outlook webpage will refresh within seconds of opening any emails with attachments or opening up a new email to write regardless of email account or browser. I've tried on Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and my main browser, Chrome, to no avail. Have not found any solutions including clearing browsing history/cache/cookies, disabling any and all extensions, and even removing extensions from my browser entirely. I've also reset my password twice, restarted my computer, and don't know what to do from here.

    Hello!

I am also experiencing this issue.

My colleagues and I use different devices: I work on Windows 11, and my colleagues use Macs of various generations. We all use the web version of Outlook, which is constantly open in Chrome and Safari browsers.

Clearing cache and site data helps only partially and temporarily, for a few hours or a day.

During this time, Chrome has been updated several times, but this did not solve the problem.

The issue does not depend on add-ins, as not everyone who has this problem has Outlook add-ins.

I also suspect that the problem is related to authentication.

The problem started on February 1, 2025, and no solutions are visible so far.

This issue is a real pain for my organization. Lots of our end users struggle with simple tasks like clearing browser cache. It works, but it keeps coming back over and over for the past month or so. Constant helpdesk calls about this.

I have the same issue in Chrome browser. Clearing chrome cache temporarily fixed the issue for 3 days now it's back.

    1. I tired to update the app from the settings and it updated but the issue persisted.
    2. I re-installed Chrome by deleting the current app and downloading fresh installer from Chrome's website. It seems to have fixed the issue. However, I would wait and monitor. The issue so far has been coming back after some time of clearing Cache/Cookies and restarting. Lets hope the app update fixes it completely.

I had the same problem. Clearing the cache fixed it but the root cause is most likely that I was logged into another Microsoft Office 365 account. My original via GoDaddy and the second one, directly with Microsoft. These 2 accounts were most likely vying for the Compose message thread of my browser. Just a theory but seems to hold weight.
