UPDATE 28Apr2025: I renewed and changed my subscription to Microsoft Personal Classic and that *seemed* to eliminate Co-Pilot. For how long? Who knows? But at least now its no longer showing up on my emails. Thank you to everyone who shared my frustrations and who offered suggestions.

How do I remove Copilot from my Outlook email (and all other applications for that matter)? I have a 5 year old MacBook Pro. I use Outlook (Hotmail account) and all of a sudden CoPilot has appeared when I start writing or replying to emails. I do NOT want it. I do NOT need it. It is VERY distracting and I want to disable and/or remove it. Any advice would be most appreciated. I tried searching online but could not find a suitable answer. Thank you.

I do not know if I have the New or Legacy Outlook.

I agree. I've been thumbs up/down rating with comments, and hitting (left top line menu) - feedback.

It's altering to match my suggestions. So creepy/ And so poorly done. They really are spying on us.

So, his this my personal cadet that I can train to do silly things?

Or, is this a borg droid, and mucking with it might corrupt the whole system.?

New button adds new features. great. That is the opposite of my request.

    Good luck.

I am so sick of this copilot BS. It is intrusive and I don't want it or need it. I like to think for myself.

I used these references to find an 100% effective solution: https://www.techradar.com/pro/free-email-clients-listed-and-compared https://www.pcmag.com/picks/best-email-clients

i.e. email client software that avoids MS's heavy-handed obnoxiousness.

Thuderbird is powerful but sometimes fiddly.

eM Client is becoming my newest favorite.
