UPDATE 28Apr2025: I renewed and changed my subscription to Microsoft Personal Classic and that *seemed* to eliminate Co-Pilot. For how long? Who knows? But at least now its no longer showing up on my emails. Thank you to everyone who shared my frustrations and who offered suggestions.

How do I remove Copilot from my Outlook email (and all other applications for that matter)? I have a 5 year old MacBook Pro. I use Outlook (Hotmail account) and all of a sudden CoPilot has appeared when I start writing or replying to emails. I do NOT want it. I do NOT need it. It is VERY distracting and I want to disable and/or remove it. Any advice would be most appreciated. I tried searching online but could not find a suitable answer. Thank you.

I do not know if I have the New or Legacy Outlook.

PLEASE remove COPILOT from my outlook emails. It is driving me to distraction! I do not need this. Why try to force me to use it? It is hampering my using emails via Outlook.

Used feedback but see no changes. However, I see more angry people.

Question regarding copilot. During this time, it's being forced upon us. So, is Copilot feeding all our years of emails to its AI too increase its Matrix of knowledge without our permission?

How can I stop it from using previous emails to "HELP" us??

    Turn Copilot Off...

Are we stupid if we keep using the program? When windows 95/MS Office ruined WordPro and Netscape we (users) were the culprits. Saw live Bill Gates in Las Vegas 2004 laughing at that question with that answer.

Is this a similar case? Is my only option to stop using Outlook/Hotmail...?

Can I empty all my old emails before they are scanned for your company's use? Where do you suggest I post this question?

So, I let copilot do it's "thing" on a simple email I received this morning. It literally stated exactly what the email stated - no more no less. Useless....

On a similar convo, MSFT support closed the convo . recommended a "Ribbon" change to Auto Correct. ?!?!?

Not applicable to the web based outlook at hotmail. I do not have outlook installed. So, no ribbon. And is there an option to stop using copilot for auto correct? I cant find it on the web based outlook.com / hotmail. Anyone? Bad support tech on other convo... Bad!

Copilot is abusive. It makes me sound like a begging prostitute. Rewords even this feedback. It is shocking to see its slaggy text with my name. I'm generally nice, sometimes funny, always precise, and efficient (engineer). it's hard enough to be a female engineer without copilot. If I was working, I'd sue. It's hateful. Abusive for sure. pimping out its users.
