Why i am not able to login my outlooks account in mail app.

    the problem is still not fixed - Iso Mail still does not accept password, won't let me reset it. I'm running the app version of 365 but all contacts and calendars are not sync'd.

    this is not good enough!

    this needs to be fixed MICROSOFT!

    I'm having a similar issue getting my outlook account to work in the Apple IOS mail app. In my case I'm trying to add my outlook.com as a Microsoft Exchange account in the mail app. When I attempt to add the account, it fails with the error: "Exchange Account Unable to verify account information."

    Details:

    • The account works perfectly in the Outlook iOS app, Outlook Desktop, and Outlook Web, and is identified as a Microsoft Exchange account.
    • However, Apple Mail does not redirect to the Microsoft login page during setup, which appears to be causing the failure.
    • My iPhone and iPad are on the latest iOS version, and I’ve tested using both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, with no success. I've deleted the account and restarted my iphone (and ipad), and tried Reset Network Settings on my phone, all to no avail.

    I suspect this may be an issue with Modern Authentication compatibility or Exchange ActiveSync settings for my account. Is it possible to get a review of my outlook.com account to verify it is fully configured to support setup in third-party mail clients like Apple Mail?

    Are you saying that because I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 18 I'm unable to connect to my email account?
