Why I'm not able to login my outlook account in mail app in iPhone

The problem is specific to the native mail app on iOS devices. Microsoft Outlook for mobile is not affected and can be used without issue. I cannot logon to the webmail either. It does not recognize my email address.

More detail - My understanding is that the Microsoft login page uses OAuth. Copilot tells me the Apple Mail app might need explicit Modern Authentication support, but says Microsoft should confirm that their backend requires this. I configured the server as "outlook.office365.com". Maybe this should also be reported to Apple Support

I totally agree. It's mind boggling.

Our IT guy at work said it's probably going to be fixed in the next iOS update, but I'm not sure why Apple should do that when MS messed up. Also, the lack of communication is insane! We pay a lot for these email addresses. 😫

Its almost going on two weeks now and we have been kept in the dark. What has happened to the updates Microsoft? Keep us informed. This inconvenience is ridiculous and the lack or response and updates are even worse.

Microsoft is so big there has to be someone who knows what they are doing to fix this - this is beyond ridiculous now!
