Is it possible to search for a calendar items or have a filter in Microsoft Teams ?

It is really not comprehensible that there is no search function for the Teams calendar. That should be a top priority for Microsoft. I need to use 2 calendars in parallel, it simply does not make sense.

Seriously, we need to be able to search our calendars based on keywords..... it is 2024.... how hard can this be? Please add this functionality!

Elisabeth Ron-Camara nailed it with "incomprehensible." Other calendars provide this functionality out of the box for a reason... It's not a "nice to have feature." It's basic and not having it causes a lot of unnecessary toil and is a significant pain point. Who needs to be bribed to get this out of a back log and prioritized?

I agree, I have many Teams channel calendars and I have the need to search through them. I do not know about a way to integrate Teams channel calendars into Outlook. or which way would allow me to search through a calendar. Any help from someone?

What is crazy about it is that the mobile app supports it and it works amazingly, and it is lightning fast. So we know the functionality exists and works! What is the deal Microsoft?!?!

Microsoft Teams do not support search for calendar items in Teams at present. The following document shows you something you could search for now in Microsoft Teams client for your reference:

Thank you for the information. So, it is still not possible to search through the calendar in Teams. If I am following shared calendars or Channel calendars, no chance to search.
Please share if this will be enhanced.

Just adding my voice here: this is shockingly unacceptable and yet one more of a million things you are doing to actively make your products as bad as you possibly can as you convert yourself into an AI service company.

I am spending my career moving every platform I work with out of Microsoft products, and it's making my life orders of magnitude easier. The pain of switching out every single system we use is less than that of continuing to work with Microsoft, absolutely every platform they have does not preform acceptably.

As far as I know not possible directly in Teams today as calendar content is not indexed for search yet. But it is possible to search Teams calendar items in Outlook in case it is integrated.

You CAN search Teams Calendar. You just have to do it via the Teams Mobile App. Obviously the information is indexed if we have this capability. It is inexplicable that this function is not possible in the Desktop application.
