new outlook not syncing with gmail, no error message

My outlook stop receiving emails nor can I send emails from outlook. There is no error message from Outlook stating why it's not syncing.

I've checked gmail acct, IMAP is enabled.

I've logged out of Outlook and re-link my gmail acct to outlook, didn't work.

I've uninstalled the new Outlook and set everything up, still didn't work.

This is the new Outlook version that i'm working with. It stopped working yesterday at 3:30pm. Everything was working fine then suddenly I couldn't send an email then noticed no new emails were coming in.

    Same issue. I have the new outlook and it stopped syncing emails on 2/6/2025.

    Are we expecting an answer from Microsoft or a solution or just a continuing litany of people reporting the same problem?

    If Outlook isn't working, or is no longer reliable, does Microsoft really want Gmail users switching to Thunderbird? Because that's probably a real option... "Thunderbird Setup 128.7.0esr"

    Is someone at Microsoft reading these comments? Please help!

    Im hoping for some type of coherent response from Microsoft. I did manage to get gmail to sync and function by reverting to the old outlook app. The appearance though is so hard to get use to lol.
