My outlook stop receiving emails nor can I send emails from outlook. There is no error message from Outlook stating why it's not syncing.

I've checked gmail acct, IMAP is enabled.

I've logged out of Outlook and re-link my gmail acct to outlook, didn't work.

I've uninstalled the new Outlook and set everything up, still didn't work.

This is the new Outlook version that i'm working with. It stopped working yesterday at 3:30pm. Everything was working fine then suddenly I couldn't send an email then noticed no new emails were coming in.

As a follow-up: a lot (but still not all) of my emails have now synced up, so I think it is a VERY slow loading issue. So, deleting the malfunctioning email from All Devices and reinstalling it seems to be the fix, followed by patience if you have a lot of data out there to sync. Thank you fellow community members for the assist. Only got one email from Microsoft much later on the first day I posted (the 5th), and then another asking the same questions today - 4days later and still not providing any useful suggestions or resolution. Obviously this didn't impact your entire customer base, but from reading the comments here, it definitely negatively impacted a very significant portion - responsiveness would have been appreciated by a large customer base and the lack thereof will probably be communicated by the same.

POTENTIAL SOLUTION: I had deleted and readded my non-functional gmail from Windows Outlook to no avail. Only removed it fr om windows not all devices. This morning had a minor epiphany. Another Gmail account had also gone inactive. I deleted the two offending Gmaill accounts from ALL ACCOUNTS and re-added them. Both are now functioning normally. Peroson Opinion is that in order to fix the problem the info that Outlook stores in the cloud had to be removed.

The fix proposed by Jerry worked for me too. Did not work when I deleted the account from only "this' device. But, when I removed the account from "all" devices and then added it back in, it is now working. Takes some time, but it seems like it is restoring past emails too. Thanks, Jerry!!!

I must be the only one that deleting from ALL accounts did not work. Now I just have a completely empty inbox after re-adding my gmail account to Outlook. I guess I'll just keep waiting for a solution. Obviously Microsoft broke something, as it happened after a version update.

I am having the same issue also: messages I send get stuck in my draft folder and don't send either to myself or anyone else, and emails from Gmail aren't synching
