Can you pin the "Potential Solution" as it seemed to work for most people.

My outlook stop receiving emails nor can I send emails from outlook. There is no error message from Outlook stating why it's not syncing.
I've checked gmail acct, IMAP is enabled.
I've logged out of Outlook and re-link my gmail acct to outlook, didn't work.
I've uninstalled the new Outlook and set everything up, still didn't work.
This is the new Outlook version that i'm working with. It stopped working yesterday at 3:30pm. Everything was working fine then suddenly I couldn't send an email then noticed no new emails were coming in.

I took the advice of many people on here and deleted the gmail account from outlook on my pc, but when asked to remove only from this device or from all devices, I chose all devices. Then I added it back to my Outlook client on my PC and now everything is working again. It is taking a while to sync everything again but everything appears to be there. I only use Outlook on my Windows PC, so nothing has changed on my ipad or iphone because I use Gmail's own app on those devices.
POTENTIAL SOLUTION: I had deleted and readded my non-functional gmail from Windows Outlook to no avail. Only removed it fr om windows not all devices. This morning had a minor epiphany. Another Gmail account had also gone inactive. I deleted the two offending Gmaill accounts from ALL ACCOUNTS and re-added them. Both are now functioning normally. Peroson Opinion is that in order to fix the problem the info that Outlook stores in the cloud had to be removed.
I deleted my Gmail account from all Outlook apps (Micrpsoft PC and Iphone APP) and reentered those account again.
On the Iphone app, its sincronizing for the last 5 hours but i got nothing. and on the PC same thing, nothis is sincronized...
Any other help?? thanks

It's not just Gmail, my New Outlook stopped working direct from my provider. Tried reinstalling and won't accept my email password. tech support couldn't help either. To make matters worse reinstalling left me not even able to see my present emails as the email screen only pops up for a second and then the password screen deletes it. What a nightmare!!
