My outlook stop receiving emails nor can I send emails from outlook. There is no error message from Outlook stating why it's not syncing.

I've checked gmail acct, IMAP is enabled.

I've logged out of Outlook and re-link my gmail acct to outlook, didn't work.

I've uninstalled the new Outlook and set everything up, still didn't work.

This is the new Outlook version that i'm working with. It stopped working yesterday at 3:30pm. Everything was working fine then suddenly I couldn't send an email then noticed no new emails were coming in.

This worked for me. It's worth noting that "Remove the account from ALL devices" is not a suggestion but a necessity (in my experience, at least).

    Thanks.

    Same problem.

I have 3 accounts set up on new Outlook. One Google Workspaces account, one Gmail and one Outlook.com.

The Google Workspaces and the Outlook.com are working fine. The GMail account has completely stopped syncing. I've deleted the account and re-created it - hasn't made any difference.

I know the legacy Outlook application had issues, but the new Outlook is really the worst new product I've seen from Microsoft for many years.

When there is a problem with syncing it should at least provide an error message giving us some idea of where the problem is. I don't believe that Google is just responding to the Outlook cloud saying that there are no new items when there are many sitting there.

In Windows, with gmail, there is a "new Outlook" problem sending some emails. Some emails are put in Draft and marked with an error as unable to send. Some email just goes to Draft (no error marking), stays in Draft, and is never sent. Certain emails which I sent, are not put in Draft but are never actually sent. New Outlook seems unreliable to use for gmail, a critical mission. Thankfully I have the Thunderbird app installed as a backup.

Same problem. Running Microsoft Outlook for Mac: Version 16.98 (25061520).

Major delays in receiving gmail for weeks, and now error messages when sending gmail - MessageDeliveryFailedException: Could not deliver the message... Failure code: 700

Error messages take days to appear, so now I don't know which emails are sending.

No delays/issues when I switch to legacy Outlook, but I can't run that for more than an hour or so because it eats memory and my computer freezes.

I would try deleting/re-adding accounts but seems from what I am reading this is a temporary fix...

Outlook and Google need to play nice together again!
