switch back to classic outlook

To switch back to the classic version of Outlook, follow these steps:

1. Please ensure that the office 365 applications are installed on your device
2. Open the new Outlook for Windows.
3. Locate the toggle switch near the top right corner of the window.
4. Slide the toggle to the left to switch back to classic Outlook Revert to legacy Outlook - Microsoft Support

Are you able to start the classic Outlook if you search for the program from the Start menu?

Sorry, i just read your reply requesting the link to download the classic version. This said. i'm very glad you found it and could

resolve the issue.

seems they added an option at the top right corner of outlook which is to to quit the new outlook version and they ask you why. Once you fill out the form and send it, it reverted back for me. Note i had to download the classic version and opened that one to deal with it.
