Settings: Junk Mail: Blocked Senders: Domain Gostarmedia.com & *@gostsarmedia.com do not block incoming spam

For at least two weeks, I've been inundated with spam from the domain gostarmedia.com. I've created the following "solutions" all without success.

Rules

Sender Address Includes "gostarmedia" (without quotes)

Categorize as Spam

Move to Junk Email

Junk Mail

*@gostarmedia.com

gostarmedia.com

It would be really great if Hotmail could stop letting ****clowns like these from getting through if someone enters a valid domain. That or allow more wildcards (e.g. *@*.gostarmedia.com), instead of only allowing it in place of usernames preceding the @.

Today, I searched and deleted 16 out of 18 Junk Mail emails, that had the gostarmedia.com domain in their addresses.

    all microsoft will do is block you as it seems to be the same as i myselfand others have done

    How about if everybody saves their junk in a separate folder how much unnecessary space is that going use on msn.com servers ?

    What I'm offering isn't a solution, as Microsoft doesn't allow rules to be used in the spam folder.

    But at least you can more easily identify spam from gostarmedia by changing its appearance.

    I was surprised that another setting, "Conditional Formatting," affects messages in the spam folder.

    So you can create conditional formatting rules to change the color of problematic emails.

    I'm wondering why Microsoft has blocked email rules from working in the spam folder, but still allows conditional formatting rules.

    Outlook can clearly detect emails from gostarmedia, but for some strange reason, you're not allowed to use detection in rules to delete them.

    Create the Conditional Formatting as you like. Use gostarmedia, gostarmedia.com, etc. and choose the color.

    Now It's easier for me to search and delete gostarmedia messages.

    Has anyone else ever noticed that few if any spam emails show up in the junk folder during the weekends? Why is that?

    But to get back on topic, gostarmedia seems to be losing steam as time goes by.
