Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
I am having same problem and the most likely reason for even having this issue is some idiot at Microsoft changing the rules (intentionally?).
My account was the best it was in probably four years, I would mark this garbage as phishing using the button in the ribbon. I would get a message saying the sender would be blocked and the email reported. I was only getting 3-4 junk/phishing emails a day. The regular junk mails from companies I do frequent I would just delete normally. It was great.
First sign of trouble was obvious phishing emails ended up in my regular mail, which had not happened in probably three years. I moved them to junk, marked as phishing, and deleted them. No issue. Then all of a sudden I start getting 20-40 junk/phishing emails a day. I finally noticed that using the phishing button at the top now no longer blocks the sender but now it says it will unsubscribe me if there is an unsubscribe button in the email.
Thanks Microsoft for confirming my email is active and doing who knows what to help these jerks from filling up my junk mail. I used to think people on this board saying Microsoft was in bed with these people were just being paranoid but after sabotaging your system which was working great I have to agree, you probably are doing these things on purpose.
