Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
I have tried MANY MANY options, and just found the following:
The Outlook Junk Mail filter usually acts before email rules do. For those using an Exchange server, keep in mind that the spam filter on the server has precedence. As a result, your rules (both on the server and on the client) won't apply to messages redirected to the spam folder.
If true, you'd think they could add a step to run the rules or at least tell us why our rules aren't working.
I have used Outlook for so many years, changing my email address at this point would be a nightmare, but it sure is tempting.
In the world of AI, you'd think Microsoft would have an AI that could tell these emails are spam/phishing. It only takes a glance for me to identify these annoying emails.
