Settings: Junk Mail: Blocked Senders: Domain Gostarmedia.com & *@gostsarmedia.com do not block incoming spam

For at least two weeks, I've been inundated with spam from the domain gostarmedia.com. I've created the following "solutions" all without success.

Rules

Sender Address Includes "gostarmedia" (without quotes)

Categorize as Spam

Move to Junk Email

Junk Mail

*@gostarmedia.com

gostarmedia.com

It would be really great if Hotmail could stop letting ****clowns like these from getting through if someone enters a valid domain. That or allow more wildcards (e.g. *@*.gostarmedia.com), instead of only allowing it in place of usernames preceding the @.

Today, I searched and deleted 16 out of 18 Junk Mail emails, that had the gostarmedia.com domain in their addresses.

    Thanks again Mohammad Ali. When you originally posted this, I set mine up the same and have had 0 emails from gostarmedia since. Others who are still suffering may want to take the same steps to stop seeing the annoying emails.

    lol thats exactly what microsoft did to me from when i got loads of spam email from before they are quick enough to block us but not that sh*&* gostarmedia

    Outlook actually blocked me after I forwarded a few (7) gostarmedia emails to them with the question "Why can't you stop these spammers?". [******@outlook.com.] now redirects any email to [The outlook.com Team] which is returned by the Postmaster as "undeliverable". Yes, MSM can block me but to heck with all of us.

    I will wait for Microsoft to address the problem in proper fashion. 20 or so of these a day are so far manageable. There are that many or more from the other spammers each day. They gotta eat too, ya know!

    For those who are new and couldn't find a solution for "gostarmedia.com" spam emails — here’s a working method to auto-delete them using Power Automate:

    1. Go to https://make.powerautomate.com.
    2. On the input box: "Search or select a trigger from the list below to create a flow. (Required)", type outlook.com, then select "When a new email arrives (V2)".
    3. The first time you use Outlook-related actions, Power Automate will ask for your permission to connect to Outlook.com — make sure to allow it.
    4. On the Folder input in the trigger, select "Junk Email" (or "Junk Folder", depending on your mailbox setup).
    5. Add a Condition:
      • From
      • contains
      • gostarmedia.com
    6. In the "If yes" branch, add the "Delete email" action.
    7. For the Message Id, click into the field, go to the Expression tab, and enter or prefer copy-paste this: 
       triggerOutputs()?['body/Id']
    8. Click OK to save and continue.

    This method works 100% — I’ve implemented it and haven’t received a single spam email from this domain in over a week now.

    Hope it helps others facing the same issue!
