Settings: Junk Mail: Blocked Senders: Domain Gostarmedia.com & *@gostsarmedia.com do not block incoming spam

For at least two weeks, I've been inundated with spam from the domain gostarmedia.com. I've created the following "solutions" all without success.

Rules

Sender Address Includes "gostarmedia" (without quotes)

Categorize as Spam

Move to Junk Email

Junk Mail

*@gostarmedia.com

gostarmedia.com

It would be really great if Hotmail could stop letting ****clowns like these from getting through if someone enters a valid domain. That or allow more wildcards (e.g. *@*.gostarmedia.com), instead of only allowing it in place of usernames preceding the @.

Today, I searched and deleted 16 out of 18 Junk Mail emails, that had the gostarmedia.com domain in their addresses.

Thanks!

The banner you mentioned, or similar -

Important Notice: Personal Microsoft Service Accounts Deprecation in Power Automate. Starting May 27, 2025, personal Microsoft service accounts will begin deprecation and will be fully retired by July 26, 2025. To avoid any disruption, ensure you complete the necessary transition process before the deadline. Learn more

The 'Learn more' link explains this in detail.

That probably explains why, whatever I try, I can't block the wretched gostarmedia spam emails.

It appears that Mariusz Kiedrowicz of Gdynia, Poland owns the domain, gostarmedia.com. There are thousands and thousands of complaints. what are you going to do about it?

This probably would have worked, but Microsoft Power Automation (make.powerautomate.com) had the following banner that said:

"Important Notice: Starting June 30, 2025, personal email accounts (e.g., Gmail.com, Outlook.com) will no longer work in Power Automate. This change affects users with personal email accounts. Transition to a work or school account today by contacting your administrator or setting up a new account."

I also received an error which stated:

Error We're having some issues completing your request. Please try submitting it again.

I suspect that most of the folks posting here have personal accounts, not through an Exchange Server.

Blocking only stops mails going to the inbox, they still get delivered to the junk folder.

This is frustrating because we have to check the junk folder to see if there are legitimate messages there and with the amount sent from gostarmedia this is wasting a lot of everyone's time.

Ideally Microsoft would let us block domains completely so that they never even go to junk, we never have to see them.

Until then I'm using the Power Automate flow and it's working 100%. It should work like this because the flow should be along the lines of "if new email in junk folder is from gostarmedia then delete".
