How can I disable Copilot completely in my Outlook WEB interface?

Recently, I've started getting things like "Summary by Copilot" or "Try Draft with Copilot" inside my Outlook WEB interface.

I've searched the help pages and online, but could not find a way to completely disconnect Copilot from my email web interface. I don't want it to even scan my emails.

I feel like I've got AI pushed down my throat lately by everyone, and frankly, I really don't want it.

Thanks

    Funny!!!

    • The first link is to this forum thread :P
    • The second link is for the already infamous option of downgrading to 'Classic' on your next renewal (I'm stuck with it until the next renewal which is November :( )

They even add another level of mind games and gaslighting, by disabling the option to renew "without AI" or Copilot after first offering it for $99 annual (classic package). If you do not select the option the first time it's offered after cancellation, the option is removed for a future renewal.

In other words, there is no renewal option offered "without AI" if it is not accepted immediately. This adds insult to injury.

Of course, cancellation does not remove the pesky paperclip resurrection like a Terminator that comes back without your permission. (I know, I know, he said, "I'll be back.")

This will require another call to Rajeet (makes $1 per hour) in their Indian tech support, simply to get the original offer back again ($99 annual) without any sides of AI mutton curry if we sheep are lucky!

Honestly, I'm interested in connecting with people to start a class action lawsuit. I doublechecked my emails and this Copilot garbage was glossed over when my subscription renewal came up. As far as I can tell, all I can do is completely cancel my subscription, eat the cost, lose all my data, and get a new subscription without Copilot. I can't imagine any of us would be okay with that.

Doesn't really help for a subscription that auto-renewed. They slid the "features" in and canceling it doesn't do anything until the term expires.
