How can I disable Copilot completely in my Outlook WEB interface?

Recently, I've started getting things like "Summary by Copilot" or "Try Draft with Copilot" inside my Outlook WEB interface.

I've searched the help pages and online, but could not find a way to completely disconnect Copilot from my email web interface. I don't want it to even scan my emails.

I feel like I've got AI pushed down my throat lately by everyone, and frankly, I really don't want it.

Thanks

Dear Stan, I have exactly the same issue using the Microsoft 365 Family subscription, so I feel permitted to answer your question:

On step three, there is no option to switch or downgrade to Classic plans. Instead, I have only either the button "Switch plan" for Microsoft 365 Personal (which is not what I need), or the button "I don't want my subscription" (which I'm afraid to click, because I could lose my data).

Can you please clarify internally why I don't see the Classic plans offered?

    Dear karnaf,

The web version forces to provide copilot because it is included in your subscription.

Downgrading to the subscription without copliot will help you remove copilot from both the webmail page and desktop Office apps.

If you are still unsure, you can contact online support to learn more :)

    Best Wishes,

    Thank you for your answer,

Just to make sure I understand - even if I downgrade my subscription, it would not affect the web mail interface?
