How can I disable Copilot completely in my Outlook WEB interface?

PLEEEEAAASE ... give us the option to disable copilot on the web mail interface !!!!

I will add my voice to the numerous others here who have no use for Copilot. I figured out how to turn it off in Word, but not in the desktop version of Outlook.

I don't need it, I don't want it, and I resent having it forced upon me. I agree with others who stated that customers should have had a choice about whether to add Copilot to their subscription and not had it crammed down their throats. Its in my way. I'm an intelligent human being and I don't need "help" to write an email. Its insulting and extraneous. There should be a very easy, straightforward way to simply turn it off in all Microsoft programs and apps. Instead we are all spending our valuable time and energy searching for a solution to a problem that shouldn't have been created in the first place.

If there is no response to user concerns by Microsoft, I too will be seeking other options before my subscription comes due in Dec. 2025. This is a case of technology getting so smart that human beings are dumbed down. Before you know it, young people won't be able to write a paragraph without "help" from AI. Just because its technologically possible, doesn't make it a good thing.

Perhaps AI can be helpful in some ways, but I've lived 73 years thus far and I was doing just fine without it. Yet when I was an academic librarian we had students coming into the library who couldn't figure out how to use a copy machine when there were visuals of how to do it on the machine. I found that pitiful. No problem solving ability at all. This is the damage that too much reliance on technology and smart devices is causing.

I downgraded my Office 365 Family subscription to Family Classic, although there was no price difference, however Copilot remains in my Outlook Web interface. So that solution did not work for me. I logged out and logged back in again.

I am sick of Microsoft, first it was showing me photos of dead relatives in One Drive's For You feature, that you again can't turn off, second it was my girlfriends laptop last October, trashed by the blank screen desktop bug, thanks to a still unfixed update for Windows (I still haven't found a solution, we had to buy a new laptop), third it was copilot being introduced to my Office apps, with no way to turn it off (at least initially), and now my Outlook web interface has been taken over as well, and despite the solution presented by others here (thank you), it didn't work for me.

Microsoft has become a parody of itself.

"Microsoft 365 (Office) Copilot" - What type of product is that? (Consumer).

It's a software suit of Office applications! (Me)

Why don't they just call it Office? (Consumer)

They did, but now they want people to subscribe to it thinking it's Flight Simulator with an added co-pilot. (Me)

It's just impossible to find where (if possible?) Copilot can be turned of in my Microsoft 365 Personal pack...
Can someone of the technical service of Outlook please do this for me?
That Copilot pop up drives me mad really...

Just to make sure I understand - even if I downgrade my subscription, it would not affect the web mail interface?
