I just tried to access Outlook and I've been greeted with this message:
Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.
The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.
I've reset my password, been sent five or six e-mail login codes which have gotten me nowhere - and it wouldn't even send me one to my phone - and I am at the end of my patience. Can someone please advise me what I need to do to fix this? I've been locked out on my iPad and my phone, and trying to refresh on my laptop just gets me that message.

Microsoft had a world-wide service outage on March 1 that lasted about an hour. Even after service was restored, some people experienced login issues. You can always check the status of the Outlook/Microsoft 365 service at https://portal.office.com/servicestatus
Same here. Maybe we should get vaxxed for birdflu. Or, try smoke signals, like the plains native peoples.

Outlook is still asking me to sign-in and then not accepting my sign-in.

BS - sorry. If that outage was on March 1, then why are the problems persisting. If you use traditional Outlook, it works. It's the new and improved that fights the use of any passwords.
pleaes let us know how. every number i try just sends me a link through text to reset passwords that can't be reset.
