I just tried to access Outlook and I've been greeted with this message:
Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.
The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.
I've reset my password, been sent five or six e-mail login codes which have gotten me nowhere - and it wouldn't even send me one to my phone - and I am at the end of my patience. Can someone please advise me what I need to do to fix this? I've been locked out on my iPad and my phone, and trying to refresh on my laptop just gets me that message.

Same problem! I keep getting the message "Something went wrong, and we can't sign in right now"
Outlook won't let me sign in. I'm entering my correct credentials, since I can sign in on my phone through the app.
My desktop computer is old, BUT IT'S STILL WORKING. It was working perfectly until the unauthorized Windows update, and then my computer started acting strangely.
The "Type here to search" option doesn't work. The Microsoft Store and saved passwords don't appear; everything is a mess. Is it time to upgrade from my HP to a MacBook? :(
May I ask how did you get into classic? I’d settle for that, it would be better than nothing
Like I have said in the past. I went to my internet provider and they helped me straighten things out. since then I have had no problems. I tried other places and got no help.
Same Problem here. And not the 1st time. I often get the Too many request error of someone failing to access my account. I followed their instructions and went to 2 verification system and it only makes it worse.
Microsoft obviously has some issues and are hiding away from us.
