The new Outook display is hard on the eyes. Too stark a contrast, whether in dark or light mode, and that leads to eyestrain and frustration. In other words the display is tiring to work with. Classic outlook had a variety of grays, and even the white background was not a brilliant white, which made it a pleasure to read and work with. I suggest you scrap the new look and go back to what worked well for so many years.
There is no way to get to Classic Outlook, I can not open an archive file which is paramount for my business. Brand new laptop, paid my subscription, paid for cloud storage while a local drive works just fine for me. Can not access features because all this great technology is vastly too complicated.

Why do Microsoft engineers refuse to listen to customer and think they have a better way.
