Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I have done everything as you did, and my outlook is still behaving the same. I even uninstalled and installed Office 365. Nothing seems to work.

I started encountering this problem recently. I didn't make any changes that should have prompted this newfound issue. When I click on an unread email (I sort my emails by date, the newest at the top), Outlook will frequently automatically scroll down in my Inbox to older emails (usually to yesterday's or last week's emails). It also happens when I click on an older email after reading a new email. It doesn't do this every time, but I would say it does it more times than not. I searched to see if anyone else had encountered this problem and found a couple of posts. I followed Microsoft's instructions (disabling add-ins, repairing the application, restarting, updating, etc.), and nothing has fixed this issue. This is a super annoying glitch, and I'm tired of constantly scrolling back up in my inbox every time I go through my newer emails.
If it helps or matters, I use Microsoft 365 Apps for Business, Version 2411, Build 16.0.18227.20082. I do not like the new Outlook, so I am using the classic version on my desktop (not web-based). My computer is a Lenovo ThinkPad with Windows 11 Pro, 24H2 version.

Thank you for testing the reg keys workaround.
I've got people working on RDS servers and they are having this issue with a specific shared mailbox, their own mailbox and other shared mailboxes work fine, it is just one specific one that has this issue. I tried changing the Reg keys and made no difference. Any different recommendations for a shared mailbox?
The Outlook Team is actively working on getting this fixed so hopefully we will have that shortly.
If you want to install the registry keys to help mitigate for now, I created a reg file and put on OneDrive, Outlook Scrolling Jumps Workaround 2_5_25. To install the registry key download it and double click on it to add to the registry. These are the same reg keys in this known issue article, Outlook 2016 issues with scrolling - Microsoft Support.
Restart Outlook after adding the registry keys.
I'm having the same issue and it's so frustrating. None of these worked. This has to be a bug. Please fix it.
