Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hello Eleni,
I have now tried MOST of the things listed.
- Reset the Current View - Tried, and it did not fix the issue.
- Clear Outlook's Cache - Didn't try, mostly because I'm honestly unsure of how that works, and I'm terrified of losing data.
- Turn Off Conversation View - I never had it on. I tried turning it on, and that actually seemed to fix the issue, but conversation view was making it more difficult to do my job, so I turned it off again, and the issue persisted.
- Repair - This isn't available for me; the option is greyed out.
- Recreate - I created a new profile. I didn't spend too much time in the new profile. While it seems the issue might've gone away (at least during the 10-ish minutes I was on the new profile), there were other issues with the new profile, such as my informal signature went away and my second mailbox disappeared. So, I needed to switch back, and continued to experience this glitch.
- Check for Windows Display Scaling Issues - Tried, and it did not fix the issue.
- Disable Reading Pane Animations - Tried, and it did not fix the issue.
- Run Outlook in Safe Mode - Tried, and it did not fix the issue.
- Reinstall Microsoft 365 Apps - I agree with Barry. This is way too extreme when everything else is working fine.
I am disheartened to see so many other people with the exact same issue who are equally unable to find a solution. I would argue that this means the issue is caused by a glitch in Microsoft's software, not ours, and Microsoft needs work on a new update that will squash this bug.
