I got an email from myself that "You have been Hacked"

I had something very similar today. I checked the sender and it was also my legit email..and showed my conversation history which is nothing that I'm particularly ashamed about or have to hide. Still.. I'm slightly concerned they may actually have my password and can actually log in as myself. and actually message people in my contacts as me.

I have marked it as phishing and it's been blocked .. no idea what more to do.

Just had this, this morning. Checked my activity (which I have never done) and lots of attempts from Brazil, Russia, Argentine and Uruguay.

First thing I did was report it, block it (the pathname of the email was not mine anyway, it ended in something else other than .com)

Then changed my password immediately and logged out everywhere where I might have been logged in - this is done in your account in security and down the bottom where it says Sign out of everywhere!

Next is deep virus scans

I had already had credit card fraud a week ago, so this is strange and rather timely to say the least

I didn't scroll down to see what they had on me but to be fair I've not been up to anything anyway! I was more concerned with reporting it and dealing with my security settings

I had a dormant office 365 account. Logged in today and this email is at the top of the inbox with a 2030 date so it filters first.

It shows back up immediately when I delete it. It's in a loop somewhere and what I can't figure out is the client I'm using is chrome. The outlook client isn't setup on my mac.

I was able to archive it, then delete successfully to break the loop.
