sports calendars not showing

Are you going to reply to any of these countless posts with a solution? This is obviously an issue with all added sports calendars for Outlook and since Microsoft has gone through the trouble of creating this add calendar feature, one would think they would want to know it is not working and find a solution. Is this an ongoing situation there at Microsoft? Have you heard anything on a fix? Could someone there possibly provide an update to all of us?

I'll add another notch on the post. Selecting my sports teams adds the calendar in my list, but it has NO events. Please advise and fix Microsoft. Thanks

I have the same issue. :-(

I found a solution though! :-)

Firstly, find the sports calendar you need via a google search. Usually a .ics file.

I found my football team via fixture.es. They have loads of leagues and competitions across the world, from the EPL to the MLS. (Btw I'm in the UK.)

For my NFL team I had to look a little harder. I found the file/url option deep in the team's website.

Secondly, open Outlook in your browser. This is important, it will not work from within the Outlook app. (That's my experience.)

Open your calendar, then click on 'Add calendar'.

In the box that opens click on 'Subscribe from web'. (Screenshot below.)

Copy paste the file / web address from your google search.

Then click on 'Import'. From memory it took a few seconds and then there was a confirmation.

Next, go to the calendar menu on the left and double check that this new calendar is selected/ticked.

You should see the games in your calendar. (You can then select the colour you want, to differentiate it from your other calendars etc.)

As a final check, I went to my Outlook app and checked the new calendar was there (it was). I had to select/tick it in the Outlook app, and then the games appeared! :-)

Thanks for answering! I have used fixture.es for my soccer team [Man City]. It works well, and a number of my fellow City fans have used it to import all the matches. As you may have noted, it's great because as the season continues, matches are moved off the default 3pmUK game time and the calendar updates.

I've had less luck finding American sports calendars. I've tried getting them from the team sites but no luck.

What I REALLY want is a way to recover the calendar I deleted by mistake last week. I had put them in, by hand, with notes like broadcast network, etc. The web results say to look for deleted items inside a folder but I can't get folder view to see any items.

I've tried this. Unfortunately when I go to Outlook on the web, or in the app, and try to import the .ics. file it says the bottom there was a problem importing the file, on all the ones I have tried. So, something is happening on the outlook side of things because I can import ics files into other calendars
